New SCORM Cloud plans arrive alongside pricing increases
Today we went live with new SCORM Cloud pricing plans, which include increases to our existing monthly plans and introducing 2 new plan types.
SCORM Cloud looks a lot different today than when we first introduced it in 2009. And up until now, the only thing that hadn’t changed in the application was the pricing. Over the past 13 years, we’ve invested heavily in SCORM Cloud to keep pace with our customer’s needs and the evolution of the eLearning standards. Here are some of the highlights of features we’ve added over the years:
- Support for more standards, like xAPI, LTI, and cmi5
- Supporting different content types, including MP4 files and PDFs
- An ADL Conformant LRS
- ISO certification
- Global CDN support
So what’s changing?
Along with increases to our monthly plans, we’re also offering 2 new plan types based on what things we’ve learned over the years. The tiers we built so long ago were great starting points, but don’t support the usage we see today. So we’ve added a new Tester plan and a Mega plan to bridge the gap between our larger plan sizes (Biggerer and Even Biggerer, now known as Ultra). And we’ve also made a few tweaks to the free trial plan.
Check out the details on the new plans and pricing in our reference guide.
What does this mean for our current SCORM Cloud customers?
While the new plans go into effect today for anyone signing up for SCORM Cloud, our current customers will see these changes go into effect over the next 90 days.
To help our customers navigate the new pricing, we’ve put together a handy price comparison calculator to see what plan is best and how their monthly fees will change.
While SCORM Cloud pricing has changed, one thing still remains the same and that’s our delightful support. Our team is here to help you, so please, ask us anything.
