Just as the world’s top athletes showcased their skills and dedication at the recent summer Olympics, our customers have been competing at the highest level in their own arenas. The Brandon Hall Group HCM Awards celebrate these champions—organizations that have excelled in deploying innovative programs, strategies and systems, achieving outstanding and measurable results in Human Capital Management. This year, we’ve worked with our customers LOMA and Alarm.com to submit their unique usage and achievements with Content Controller over the past few years.
With the competition over and the winners announced, we are glad to say that both customers reached the podium with Alarm.com winning a Bronze award in Best Extended Enterprise Learning Program, and LOMA winning a Gold award in Best Association Professional Development Program. We are so proud that our customers could take home a medal!
Alarm.com: Reaching learners across an enterprise organization
Alarm.com is a leading property security company offering a variety of services and hardware for the residential and commercial markets. As the company and learning content library grew, distributing product training across their networks was starting to become cumbersome and slow. With dealers, distributors and teams around the globe, Alarm.com needed a more efficient way to distribute their courseware to all of the varying LMSs.
Content Controller became an integral solution to their challenges, streamlining the delivery of training materials and reducing the burdens of growth. Additionally, Alarm.com gained the advantage of better version control over its content and the use of cmi5 and xAPI, which offers detailed insights into the usage of its training materials.
LOMA: Creating a sustainable microlearning program for members
LOMA has been one of the largest financial services associations for over a century, servicing over 700 member companies. Being a customer-focused organization, LOMA discovered a need for microlearning programs to allow for more flexibility and mobility among learners. However, when beginning to create the Industry Advantage microlearning program, they found they needed a flexible tool to allow for a new subscription model and that members needed to centralize content.
The solution was to utilize Content Controller, which provides a centralized way for LOMA to manage their content, includes built-in licensing management to automate their subscription model and offers an easy way to distribute learning content in their members’ chosen standard. Since implementing Industry Advantage, they have seen great adoption and customer satisfaction.
Go for GOLD with Content Controller
It is really cool to see all the different ways that Content Controller is helping our customers achieve success and improve efficiencies. It is even more incredible when outside organizations, like the Brandon Hall Group HCM Awards, recognize these wins.
