This year’s DevLearn came with a few changes—a new venue and a different time of year—but it still felt like the DevLearn we know and love. It’s always a chance to share our expertise on the expo floor, connect with familiar faces and meet so many new ones. DevLearn continues to be one of the best conferences we attend all year. Why? Because the audience is full of tech-savvy professionals who share our passion for learning technology. These are our people. With nearly 4,000 attendees, DevLearn is a hub of excitement where people come to explore innovative learning technologies and discover solutions to their challenges. Many attendees intentionally sought us out, knowing we could help them solve their learning challenges. When someone looks for your booth, it’s a sign of trust—they already believe in the value you bring.

The quality of the conversations we had was truly top-notch. With 22 years of experience in the learning industry and products like SCORM Cloud, Rustici Engine and Content Controller, we’ve built relationships and trust that resonate with the DevLearn audience. We’ve always believed that nothing speaks louder than the voice of a happy customer. A recommendation from someone who uses and loves your product carries more weight than anything we could say about ourselves. This was especially true this year when LOMA and Acorn PLMS shared how our tools have made a real difference for their organizations.

Spotlight on LOMA: Reaching learners where they are

We kicked off DevLearn with an incredible co-presentation featuring Cindy Henry from LIMRA and LOMA and Tammy Rutherford from our team. They shared the story of how LOMA, a leading insurance and financial services association, partnered with Rustici Software to launch its Industry Advantage program.

LOMA faced challenges in distributing course content to the learning management systems of its member organizations. The solution? Content Controller. By using Content Controller, LOMA was able to centralize content management, simplify version control and access and provide detailed reporting and analytics. Cindy shared how these features allowed LOMA to streamline their processes, saving time and resources while providing a better experience for their members. Missed the session? Spotlight on Acorn PLMS: Supporting behind the scenes

During the conference, we love catching up with customers who are also exhibitors. One of those customers is Acorn PLMS, where Rustici Dispatch powers much of the behind-the-scenes technology. We took the opportunity to interview Keith Metcalfe from Acorn PLMS, who shared how their platform uses Rustici Dispatch to allow clients to launch multiple branded portals and share content without requiring users to log into another platform. This seamless integration enables Acorn’s clients to maintain control over their intellectual property and monetize their content while delivering a frictionless user experience.

In the interview, Tammy and Keith highlighted how Acorn PLMS leverages Rustici Dispatch’s capabilities—like xAPI support and ability to export courses as a dispatch package—to provide robust solutions for its customers. By relying on Rustici Dispatch, Acorn avoids building these features in-house, saving time and developer resources.

If you weren’t able to attend DevLearn this year, we’d love to catch up and share more about what we learned and how we’re helping organizations just like yours. Let’s keep the conversation going!
