Prior to 2020, my personal end-of-year “Best of” lists typically consisted of films, music, video games… that type of thing. Then came 2020, ‘rona, and quarantine and my lists changed dramatically. Now I’m ranking things like my best sourdough loaf, my best homemade pizza, my best takeout experience (I know, I know… we mostly ate our way through the pandemic!). Fortunately, when I need to feel that sense of normalcy, I can always return to our favorite learning technology annual “Best of” lists. So let’s get to it!

Working with 50% of the Top 10 Learning Systems named by Craig Weiss

This year Craig scaled down his list to just a Top 10 with #11-20 as a bonus. This is a fantastic list of learning systems, including traditional LMSs, LXPs/LEPs, and some systems specifically designed for particular industries. Craig’s annual best of lists and his FindAnLMS service are go-to resources for any organization searching for a new and improved learning system. To be included in his list is a pretty big deal, which is why we’re excited to be behind the scenes with our Rustici Engine and SCORM Cloud products in half of these 10 top shelf systems and 11 of his expanded list of 20.

Supporting 25% of the Fosway’s Learning System 9-Grid winners

Next is another one of our favorite lists that we highlight each year: Fosway 9-Grid for Digital Learning and Learning Systems. For those of you unfamiliar with the Fosway 9-Grid for Learning Systems, this is a multi-dimensional model, focused primarily on providers that serve the UK and EU markets. This year, Rustici Software customers accounted for 25% of the Learning Systems finalists. As always, we are thrilled and humbled to be a small, yet important, part of our customers’ products.

Every year, Fosway also releases their 9-Grid for Digital Learning. This 9-Grid focuses again primarily on the UK and EU markets, but unlike Learning Systems, Digital Learning providers tend to not only offer technology products, but offer services wrapped around those products such as content creation, learning environment design and overall learning strategy. This year our customers make up 7% of the Digital Learning finalists. Among those is our parent company, LTG. We are so proud of our customers for this accomplishment, as well as all of our sister companies who contribute mightily to LTG’s position as Strategic Leader in this impressive field of providers.

Nothing but love!

Of course, we love all of our customers equally, but we’re especially proud of the ones that make these industry lists each year. We know a ton of hard work and dedication has brought each of them to this point, and we’re thrilled they are all receiving this much deserved recognition. Now that 2020 is squarely behind us (good riddance), I wish all of you reading this, especially our customers, a much improved and fruitful 2021!

Andy joined our team to evangelize xAPI. Now he talks to people about all of the eLearning standards all day because he is considered a “salesperson.” He’s also our office jokester – he’s a punny guy.
