Adding Rebecca to the team is a series of firsts: the first dedicated UI/UX designer, first Ph.D. in medieval history and complete and total Anglophile. Rebecca’s road to designer was a winding one with several interesting stops along the way. After some time in academia, she was working at a publishing company using a few platforms with the worst user experiences and thought she could design something better. Her husband, who is a software developer, encouraged her to pursue that thought, and we’re glad he did! A self-proclaimed lifelong nerd, Rebecca is always moving from one interest to the next. When she was young, that included history, drama and band. These days, it’s everything from classic Masterpiece Theatre to reading fantasy realism, and home DIY to watching British TV shows with her family. As Rustici’s dedicated UI/UX designer, Rebecca will be working on our products with customer user interfaces to redesign them to be easier to use and more accessible for all.
