Since TalenTeam started in 2012, they have been focused on providing the very best experiences to empower organizations to capture and retain the best talent. Through exploring innovations in technology and adapting to customers’ needs, they achieve this focus every year. With over 120 customers worldwide, they are always there to provide the best learning and talent management experience, no matter the size of the organization.
Recently, we had a chance to catch up with Sandeep Nahata, the Managing Director of TalenTeam. Since their recent integration of Rustici Engine into their BLEND LXP, we thought it would be great to learn more about them and check in on how Rustici Engine will pave the road for continued customer support.
Tell us a bit about TalenTeam, what makes you different?
One of the primary differences that makes us unique is we are an SAP SuccessFactors partner and are solely focused on supporting customers of the SAP SuccessFactors platform. Our BLEND LXP is there to help integrate other pieces of technology and/or innovate to ensure our customers have everything they need for their very unique HCM programs. That being said, we still have a broad reach of customers from all over the world, with many in the UK, Europe, MENA, USA and beyond.
As you are continuing to grow, what led to Rustici Engine?
The original use case of the BLEND LXP was supposed to be a pure and simple content aggregation tool. Being a customer-centric company, we dive deep into integration and focus on learning more about our customers’ needs. We recently heard about the newfound need to host, play and track eLearning content, specifically xAPI content. We tried to build out our own LRS, but it was not as dynamic in its use cases as our customers needed. That’s when we knew we needed an expert in the space who knows how to implement eLearning content effectively.
What were some of the factors that made you choose Rustici Engine?
Working with global enterprise customers, we wanted to ensure we found a partner who had the expertise and the ability to scale with us. It didn’t take long to discover that Rustici Software was the right partner to help us achieve these new goals. Not only do they have the long history of evangelizing and supporting the eLearning standards, but they also work with many enterprise customers to achieve their learning programs at scale.
How has the implementation gone, how are you using it within your products today?
The customer support team at Rustici is exceptional. Whether we have a highly technical question or can’t find a solution from the documentation, they are there to answer any question honestly. To an even greater extent, we hit a roadblock with implementing one of the features, and within no time, the support team was able to update Rustici Engine with a fix. With all that said, we were able to get most of Rustici Engine, and its integration implemented very quickly and are slowly rolling out to existing customers, while new customers are planned to receive the functionality automatically.
What is your company working on for the future that has you excited?
One thing that we are excited about is this integration of Rustici Engine. To bring xAPI capabilities along with other eLearning content support to our customers is amazing, and it also opens the road to expanding support of LTI in the future. This will take our LXP to the next level for our customers, and it holds a lot of new opportunities for them to expand the usage of their content on our platform. Another thing that we are actively working toward is including more generative AI capabilities. We have a few available now, like summary and tag generation, but we are continuing to explore more features (especially with the upcoming release of Rustici Generator).
