As a huge weather nerd, I always* find the changing of the seasons to be an exciting time. Meteorological fall started this weekend, and after a brutally hot summer in parts of the United States — including Nashville where the Rustici Software office is — most of us are ready for the pop of fall colors, football, pumpkin everything and cooler temperatures.

Some of my favorite not-so-scary weather pictures.

But relief from the heat dome/corn sweat/buying stock in floor fans isn’t the only thing to be excited about going into fall. It’s time for a change of scenery and to hit the road for fall conferences.
