WorkRamp is one of the latest up-and-coming LMSs to shake up the world of eLearning. Driven by their core values of ‘always be improving’, operational excellence, and customer focus, the WorkRamp team is committed to helping leaders in revenue enablement, L&D, and customer education deliver impactful learning programs. These values shine when you look at their years of growth, serving enterprise customers with an impressive array of awards for platform satisfaction.
That’s why getting started with SCORM Cloud–the eLearning industry standard for more than two decades–was an easy choice for content delivery. They knew that SCORM Cloud was a great place to start, but also had the capabilities to grow with them and their goals.
We had a chance to sit down with WorkRamp’s CEO and co-founder, Ted Blosser, to discuss how their company continues to grow and how SCORM Cloud has helped them along the way.
Could you tell us a bit about WorkRamp and what makes you different?
“WorkRamp is building the Learning Cloud, a next-generation LMS. We focus on being easy to use, flexible and fully integrated into your existing tech stack. Our all-in-one capabilities enable you to centralize employee, customer, and partner education for more seamless learner experiences. We work with the world’s most innovative organizations, such as Canva, Getty Images and Box, to drive impact and growth through learning.”
As you were growing, what were the obstacles that led to SCORM Cloud?
“As the world is upskilling faster than ever, SCORM content has become the central point for how companies leverage their LMS. Customers came to us needing to manage this type of content for upskilling their teams, and with the help of SCORM Cloud, we’ve been able to easily offer access to 85K+ on-demand courses directly within our platform.”
What were some of the deciding factors in choosing SCORM Cloud?
“The team at Rustici Software has been pioneering SCORM standards from the beginning, so they made it easy for us to partner with them. Additionally, working with an out-of-the-box SCORM player gave us the opportunity to focus more on our core competencies around simplicity and ease of use. Their teams were always there to make sure our account got set up smoothly and were still there whenever we had to troubleshoot. Their cloud solutions have been very flexible for where we needed to go and have been critical in offering our customers the best-in-class SCORM experience.”
How are you using SCORM Cloud today, and where are you looking to go with it?
“SCORM Cloud is used to play any SCORM files within WorkRamp and provide detailed reporting back to our customers. These are either natively uploaded SCORM files for proprietary skill building within an organization or content provided by our content providers. It is also extremely mobile-friendly, which allows our customers to learn on the go.”
What is your company working on for the future that has you excited?
“I’m really excited about the AI recommendation capabilities we’re building in our platform to recommend SCORM content. Customers can converse with WorkRamp to find the best content for the skills they want to build, and then play that content via SCORM Cloud. We believe the future of learning is going to be heavily AI-driven, so we’re excited to pave the way!”
