Now, SimTutor offers two options for simulation-based training solutions: the SIMTICS healthcare library and SimTutor Author, which is a platform for creating custom simulations for unique training needs for healthcare organizations and beyond.

The challenge

Building simulations is both complex and time-consuming. As SimTutor was growing and wanting to reach new clients, they thought it would be beneficial to create an authoring tool that focuses on building simulations. They wanted the tool to support multiple SCORM versions and other learning standards without having to build and support the standards themselves.
