Software QA Tester

We’re looking for technology minded folks who want to be in a QA role that allows them to work closely with the Software developers who are creating the products they test. To start, you’d test our two applications intended to be used primarily via a User Interface.

The right person for this job will be comfortable learning the inner-workings of an unfamiliar application, writing/evolving manual test scripts, and performing that test script regularly. The primary goals for this role will be preventing software releases with regressions, verifying bug fixes and new features, and providing direct feedback to the development team regarding testing failures.

We have a pretty good idea about things we’d like:

  • Experience Testing Software
  • Experience with Existing Software Testing Tool(s)

And some thoughts on things that would be a huge bonus:

  • Experience Writing Simple Scripts for Automated Testing
  • Background in Writing Software

It’s important to us to point out that if you don’t have these things, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear from you. If you think you’d love Software Testing and can demonstrate why you’d excel in that role we definitely want to hear from you.
